Dr. Elena Veety and team win Best Paper at ASEE 2017 Annual Conference

ASSIST is proud to congratulate Dr. Elena Veety and her team on winning Best Paper for the Pre-College Engineering Education category at the 2017 ASEE Annual Conference!
Announced June 28, 2017, the award is shared by co-authors Dr. Jesse Jur, Mrs. Hannah Kimrey Elliot, and Mr. James Edward Lamberth III.
Dr. Veety presented her work as part of a panel session “Organizing Instruction Around a Theme.”  Dr. Veety also led an interactive workshop introducing other engineering educators to the Wearable Device Design Challenge with the help of Mrs. Elliot and Mr. Lamberth.
