The ASSIST Center’s outreach to pre-college students is so important to our mission. This April 8, 2022, we hosted our annual Wearable Device Challenge, where middle and high school students create a wearable device to monitor a health concern for humans or animals. Winners were chosen in middle and high school divisions by teams of graduate research assistants, professors from NC State, and industry personnel.
